This is a safe and secure Website. There are no viruses or secret cookies and no "security issues." Mattie is a survivor of China's "One Child Policy." Abandoned on the side of a road at the age of only 2 or 3 days, she was rescued and one of the beaurocrats saw something special and, by manipulating some documents, managed to get her into an international orphanage rather than the state-run version which would have condemned her to working in a factory when she turned six. Instead, when she was about one year old, she was paired with her American mom who has raised a dedicated, hardworking, and multi-talented daughter. Her mother is best friends with an established GKM client, Traci Godfrey. Traci introduced GKM to Mattie and her talent was immediately recognized. As young as Mattie is, she holds a degree in directing and editing and is tapping into her talent as an actress, and possibly, as a singer/rapper/writer musical artist (she is a musical theatre geek). Add to all that, she is undeniably adorable and cute and has the "Alt-Girl" thing down pat. She has tremendous range which is just beginning to be explored.

HOLY COW! It's been said that I stick with my clients through thick and thin. Here is more evidence: After 48 years, "THE HARLOTS OF 42nd STREET," the most influential glam-rock band of the cutting edge NYC underground early 1970s rock era, has a new record deal! The release date of the pristine-sounding tapes which have survived for all these years is OCTOBER 14, 2022!! It sounds like we just left the studio. As the label's head wrote when he first heard it "Dude. This shit’s really good!" Indeed, it was, and still is. GKM is proud to announce that REMINGTON MOSES has joined the GKM family. The first thing that caught my eye about This talented young woman was that she had graduated from The Strasberg Institute at NYU. She's a serious actor and her video demonstrates some serious skills. Then, I noticed, she is now a PROFESSOR at NYU Tisch/LEE STRASBERG INSTITUTE where had been a student. That's a fabulous accomplishment. But then, what an amazing bonus is that she is the daughter of well-known actress, TRACY NELSON ("Melrose Place," "Father Dowling Mysteries," much more), and WILLIAM MOSES ("Falcon Crest," much more). To continue the interesting theme, she is the granddaughter of pop idol, RICKY NELSON. It follows (or precedes) that her great grandparents are the legends OZZIE & HARRIET. As if that was not enough, her uncles are the twins, MATTHEW and GUNNAR, that formed the 80s rock group, NELSON. And, just a little extra, her great uncle is MARK HARMON ("NCIS"). There's even more than that. So, acting is very much in her blood as there are entertainment legends in 3 previous generations. It is my honor to help her continue the family tradition.
TIARA PARKER-RAGLAND
TIARA PARKER-RAGLAND has returned after taking a hiatus. She spent a few years behind the camera and gained very valuable knowledge and experience as a line director and producer for short films, industrials, documentaries, and films.
In her first go-round she was on "How I Met Your Moether," "CSI: NY," "Shark," "Pandemic," "Mind of Mencia," "Desperate Housewives," and "Murder In The First," among others. Now, she's shot a couple of other projects, including, "General Hospital," and some things we can not mention yet. She is actually more beautiful (and, of course, more experienced and nuanced) than 10 years ago when she made her feature film debut on "Alvin and the Chipmunks," "Drive," and "Crazy, Stupid, Love."
The best is yet to come. I mean, just look at her. You can see charisma and strength. More photos on our "Actors" tab.
A former daytime star and lead in a Hallmark Adventure Pilot ("Braxton"), and
guest star appearances on multiple, network TV shows, Patrick took a long break from film and TV to follow two loves: theatre, and his family
ranch in Idaho. But, now, with a new and refreshed perspective,
it's time to return to TV and film and we are stoked
to have him back in the game.
GKM WELCOMES TRACI GODFREY!
TRACI is a veteran actor, starting early with THE SOPRANOS, dozens of eppys on AS THE WORLD TURNS, 4 versions of GRAND THEFT AUTO (among other credits) and many episodes over an 8 year span on LAW & ORDER: CI as Detective Agnes Farley. She has also had an extensive career as a voice-over artist. A fitness guru, she has a series of of audio instructionals called SOUNDBODY. She took time off for personal reasons and GKM was fortunate enough to have her join our family when she decided it was time to get back in the game.
TRACI signed with GKM days prior to the shutdown. Almost as soon as the COVID 19 "curtain" was removed, TRACI booked her first job as a GKM family member. It's for an episode of a new show on a major outlet with a major producer. I guess you can figure out we are not allowed to divulge any info. But, it's 3-4 weeks worth of work over several locations. WAY TO GO, TRACI!

JENNIFER BASSEY
Former client, Jennifer Bassey was born in Chicago. Her first job in entertainment was as a singing Playboy bunny in the very first Playboy Club. She left her bunny ears behind and was accepted into the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, where she got the lowest entrance marks in the history of the academy. Three years later, she graduated from the RADA with honors, finishing just below classmate and future Academy Award-winner, Sir Anthony Hopkins. Jennifer went on to the Big Apple, where she appeared in several Broadway and off-Broadway productions. Some of which included Neil Simon's "California Suite," "Not Now Darling," directed by George Abbot, "In Praise of Love" with Rex Harrison and "The Homecoming" (The Original Royal Shakespeare Production).
Her most recent off-Broadway credits include Moliere's "Tartuffe" and Wendy Wasserstein's "Isn't It Romantic," both staged at the Tribeca Playhouse. Prior off-Broadway appearances included playing "Katherine" in "The Taming of the Shrew" at the Roundabout Theatre, "Lady Macbeth" in "Macbeth" at the Stratford Theatre and "Love Letters," in which she co-starred with Ken Kercheval.
In 1983, Miss Bassey won the role of "Marian Colby" on "All My Children," initially signing for a five-month stint. Due to the incredible popularity of her character, she became a Contract Player and spent decades on the stalwart daytime drama.
Beyond her other dramatic successes, she has enjoyed a flourishing film career that includes such feature films as "Waxwork, Twogether," which also featured both the performing and directing talents of Nick Cassavetes, and "Dunston Checks In" where in a scene-stealing, skin-revealing moment, she received an orgasmic massage from an orangutan! Jennifer has achieved prime-time success, most recently as a Guest Star on "Law & Order," "30 Rock," Grey's Academy," and a recent arc in a return to Daytime in "General Hospital," among many other primetime shows.
In addition to her Two Emmy nominations (including one this year), she also received two Soap Opera Digest Awards, the second of which was shared with her co-star, David Canary, for Favorite Couple.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys outdoor activities and is an aspiring writer, whose latest effort is a new night-time series called "Nightfall," which is currently under consideration for production by HBO.
Her range is astounding as you can see reflected in some of her photos, above and below, and the breadth of roles she has portrayed throughout her amazing career.
After more than 12 years together, Philip and I have cordially changed our relationship, but not without one more booking which he will be shooting for a couple of weeks later this month. Staying friends is important to both of us. Here's a little from before:
PHILIP HERNANDEZ was most recently seen in Guest Star roles on “BULL,” “BLUE BLOODS,” and in the season finale of NBC-TV's "THE BLACKLIST." He and James Spader really got into it.
Philip currently has a recurring role as Dr. Costa on “THE PATH,” and had a recurring role on "GOTHAM" as Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Guerra. He appeared opposite Edie Falco and Tony Shaloub on "NURSE JACKIE," and with Debra Messing in an episode of "MYSTERIES OF LAURA." He also played pivotal roles in "HOSTAGES," and "ELEMENTARY," among others.
Philip has had multiple leading roles on Broadway. He is the only actor in Broadway history to star as both male leads in "LES MISERABLES." He also played lead roles in the Original Broadway Casts of "THE CAPEMAN," and "KISS OF THE SPIDERWOMAN."

We have, literally, accidentally discovered talent in the subway who never acted before who has gone on to feature films and Series Regular roles. There is someone who was a teen out of a small town in Florida with stars in her eyes and now she is a star in her own right. You just never know.
Of course, many clients start their career with print work (GKM clients have appeared in innumerable print campaigns), or commercials (GKM clients have shot countless national network commercials), or Day Player work and Under Fives. (We discourage extra work, even for our beginners, because we don't want our clients "seen" that way by casting.) Some are getting advice on their first headshots or are getting their first meeting with an agent or casting director. Some are meeting with acting coaches and just getting started. There are many working actors who are not stars, but they are the backbone of the industry. Some "overnight success stories" take twenty years (or more) to achieve.
An actor's representative must have patience for the long haul. An actor must also understand that this is a building and learning process and things rarely happen over night. Some will make it. Most will not. But, sometimes magic happens and that's part of the fun.
